Archive for March, 2009

Cartoon compadre, Royston Robertson (and fellow member of the Professional Cartoonists’ Organisation UK), kindly gave me permission to post his inspiring booster poster on my blog, a copy of which is displayed on my studio wall next to my neurotically exhilarating Vatican calendar of rather tasty looking catholic priests-Mr March is very hot by the way.  The calendar was given to me by my friend Sabs, who recently spent a very un-catholic holiday in Italy.   A bit of Catholicism next to a bit of hope. How’s that for dual spiritual messaging.  It’s a sure sign that things can only get better.  From my experience, everything in the real world is transitory, both the bad and the good,  so you may as well just get on with doing what you are supposed to be doing, credit crunch or no credit crunch.  If this sounds rather facile, believe me, it’s not.  It takes great dollops of spiritual practice as well as credit crunch strategy management not to let the bastards get you down.   So, a big thank you Royston, for your uplifting poster.  Check out Royston’s blog, here’s the link: http://roystonrobertson.blogspot.com/.roystonrobertsoncartoon-for-my-blog-copy2

bs-025-illo-friday-intricate-knittingHello Illustration Friday creatives,

Saddly, my knitting skills aren’t up to scratch, however, if I were blessed with this talent,  I’d probably try knitting bunny suits for all my mates.

Enjoy your weekend.
